What is Wingsurfing?
Wingsurfing is a new sport "extreme" with wind power in one hand wing to push the pilot of a dirtsurf or mountainboard. Passengers can reach speeds exceeding 40 mph and yet are able to develop into or out of the wind in the same way as a windsurfer does. Add to this, freestyle tricks and jumps, and soon you realize that wingsurfing not only fun, but being a new sport, we are just scratching the surface of the movements and tricks.
What is a kitewing?
Kitewing looks like a cross between a windsurf sail and a hang glider. Designed in Finland, the hand is Kitewing Available in 3 sizes 3.5 to 5.5 square meters and was originally designed for ice skaters. Apparently, wind power skating has been an activity in Finland for many years, however, the Kitewing is a modern design with modern technology. Its beauty lies in its power. As a wing, and more than 8 or 9 mph wind that literally flies. In your hands you can feel weightless, but the idea is to generate energy. This power is simply achieved by adjusting the angle of the wing against wind. If you are a windsurfer, you'll pick up this almost immediately, and also soon realize that power can be forward (pulling power) or (lift) upwards.

What to do with all this power?
Although Kitewing was originally designed for skaters to ice, in recent years its use has expanded to snowboards, skis, skates, skateboards, mountain boards and Dirtsurfers. What you use depends of its environment and conditions.

What is a dirtsurf?
The dirtsurf is another marvel, designed in Australia as a summer alternative to snowboarding, is a two-wheel (online) it is like nothing else on board. It has two wheels 16 or 20 inches and cover the pilot is in (with or without foot straps). Stearing is accomplished by simply tilting the board in the same way as a skateboarder or snowboarder does, so it is possible to mimic the fluid class which are typical of a snowboard or surf. Where I can go?

If you are a speed freak and has a decent land breeze, a large (compacted) empty beach, and dirtsurf Kitewing one, you can easily find yourself doing 30 mph or more. the most popular beaches in Wales are Llangennith on the Gower (north of the current), Abberavon (Port Talbot) or many of the great beaches on the west coast. In fact, any beach where riders can fly. Like the riders power, will have to walk / fly with consideration to other users in mind. There are also brokers who in meetup Camber Sands on the south coast.
How fast can you go?
Using a Kitewing for power, the fastest speed currently registered 48.7MPH on a beach in south Wales. The current goal is to go over 50 mph.

"I can change?
Kitewing gives considerable lifting, so it is not unusual in its power to take the air. How high and far you go depends on the wind and weight, some drivers can jump several feet without the help of a kicker, a kicker this can be increased significantly.
How I can leave?
Almost all (except the very old) calf Dirtsurfers brakes have the rider leans back. This activates a brake disc or caliper in the rear wheel.
Where I can see or have a go?

Most drivers are more than happy to be able to get a quick go with some basic instruction. If you have made wind in sports before, you may have an advantage if you have done any surfing or snowboarding, it is probably easier than expected.
